Stem cell treatment is usually well tolerated. There are rare instances of side effects. It is an autologous therapy as donor and receiver are the same persons. Technology for stem cell collection and isolation is licensed and employed under stringent standards of quality.
Complications are very rare. However, nothing can be ever ruled out in medicine.
- Infections in the site of stem cell application( soft tissue or joint inflammation)
- Temporary rise in body temperature
- Irritation of nerves, veins, ligaments, tendons or muscles at the site of application
- After blood taking: upper limb vein thrombosis or inflammation
- Feeling dizzy
No adverse side effects such as secondary cancer or auto immune disease have been reported.
